– Monthly and Quarterly board reporting to PE Firm and other investors

Frank is an AI advertising genius improving the way we do digital marketing. Frank uses machine learning and real time bidding to help automate your decision making and ad spend in the most effective way possible. Finance Pals helped Frank while they were in the Telluride Venture Accelerator to improve their financial model to have key drivers such as cost to acquire a customer and revenue per customer. Once the model was updated we built a sensitivity analysis to understand the trade offs between Cost to Acquire a Customer and Sales and Marketing as % of revenue and other key metrics. We made recomendations to improve their pitch deck and business model going forward and helped them improve their accounting processes in quickbooks.
Great Dental Websites is a SaaS company that makes Dentist websites and helps out with SEO and other marketing. They have over 400 customers and $1.5M in annual revenue. Finance Pals helped to clean up a $100K discrepancy between Xero accounting software and GDW’s bank account. We created a monthly and annual forecast process to help understand the key drivers of the business and correct issues such as clients not being billed.
Palmetto provides residential solar panel installations and residential real estate rentals. Finance Pals stepped in as the interim controller and helped setup a new FP&A department. We improved the Accounts Receivable process by creating a forecast at the opportunity level and tracked opportunities until the cash was received. We built a long range forecast that factored in growth goals, seasonality and marketing effectiveness.
Shedwool is a free employee scheduling app. Finance Pals helped Shedwool while they were in the Telluride Venture Accelerator to improve their financial model to have key drivers such as cost to acquire a customer and revenue per customer. Once the model was updated we built a sensitivity analysis to understand the trade offs between CPM, Ad views per user per day, Sales and Marketing as % of revenue and other key metrics. We made recomendations to improve their pitch deck and business model going forward. As of Q4 2017 Shedwool is in the GAN post accelerator and we continue to work with them.
Renovate Simply helps customers get the Right Estimate for home renovation projects using an app and then match them with the Right Contractor. Finance Pals helped to update a forecast for future investor meetings by looking at the last 3 month actuals and determining the key metrics or drivers that should be used as assumptions for how the business would grow. Some of the key drivers were site visits, contractor requests, contractor meetings, and referral fees. We are also helping to clean up Renovate Simply’s Xero bookkeeping so that their credit card reconciles with the actual statement.
The Level Market is a one-stop-shop for aid and development products where E-Commerce serves humanity. Finance Pals helped to create a proforma forecast for an investor pitch. We helped to identify the drivers behind the different revenue streams and forecast how both suppliers and customers would grow.
The Colomina Life is a real estate rental company with 5 property locations. We worked to help setup TCL correctly in Quickbooks including payroll. We audit their monthly bank and credit card statements and help resolve any discrepancies. Finance Pals created reporting to show profitability by property and an annual forecast to understand cash flows to determine when TCL can buy new properties. We also create all quarterly and annual tax forms.
